The Unit
Residential Crisis Stabilization (RCSU)
Our Residential Crisis Stabilization Unit (RCSU) is built to feel like home while providing the structure and support of professional crisis services.
Counsel Culture provides short-term Residential Crisis Stabilization services for adults experiencing acute mental health crises that do not require hospitalization. We focus on stabilization, safety, and seamless transition to ongoing outpatient care.
Small caseloads
Our Residential Crisis Support Staff and Case Managers maintain small caseloads of 4 to 5 clients at a time to ensure quality care.
At the facility, and in the community
Services are delivered both at the residential facility and within the community. Our specialists connect clients with appropriate physicians and community resources.
Training and education
Counsel Culture offers support in training and education for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, including education on effective community resources to enhance their quality of life.
Sober living housing
Alongside the RCSU, Counsel Culture provides sober living housing in Richmond, Virginia, as part of its residential support for adults in transition.
